Chattanooga is a medium sized city located on the Southeastern corner of Tennessee, just north of Georgia. It is surrounded by Atlanta, Knoxville, Nashville and Birmingham and is about one or two hours drive. Chattanooga is at the crossroads of the railroads, major highways, airports (Chattanooga airport, Atlanta airports, Nashville airport), and the Tennessee River.

Chattanooga has attractions Rock City and Ruby Falls as well as the world renown Tennessee Freshwater Aquarium, the Creative Discovery Museum, and the 3D Imax Theater. And of course the famous Chattanooga ChooChoo is here as well.

What's it like living there?

The Chattanooga area is a really gorgeous area to live in. It is a great city by nature for travelers, kids, and family. It is nestled between Missionary Ridge, Lookout Mountain, Signal Mountain, and Tennessee River. It is a clean and no traffic city. There are a number of parks and recreational areas that were created during Chattanooga's turn around, as well as numerous outdoor recreational opportunities such as whitewater rafting, hiking, hang gliding, bike trails, and much more. Living in an area with rivers and mountains certainly has it's perks. For those that prefer to stay indoors there are at last count four malls and several night clubs as well as dozens of restaurants.

Chattanooga has the corporate headquarters like U.S. Xpress, Inc (the 4th largest trucking company in the U.S.), The Chattanooga Bakery (the Moon pie), Miller Industries (the largest tow truck manufacturer in the world), UnumProvident, Olan Mills, Rock Creek Outfitters, Krystal, CBL & Associates, Chattem, Covenant Transport, and National Model Railroad Association.
